Dear God,
We Welcome you to The Dirty- The noble home of K 9 and Maxamil, A.K.A. 386 ~ also called Volusia County Fugitives
Bringing you true Hip-Hop, RealReppinReal genuine style. We chose the name 386 to remind us where we came from, both being Daytona Beach natives, our roots are important to us!
The purpose of our music is to separate ourselves from The Pack with a unique blend of Street and Radio Tracks intended to Enlighten and Entertain..(as it does, Thank You Jesus!)
I chose the name K 9 to represent my Fraternity Omega Psi Phi, who’s mascot is a k-9, a Dawg. I crossed the burning sands at Kansas State University, where I played football as a Wildcat for 3 years before dedicating the talents You blessed me with, to music. Even as a child, I often found myself beating on buckets, making my own music, I Thank You for that! I’ve been inspired by life’s trials and tribulations, I Thank You God, for allowing me to maintain a positive attitude towards life through all of it! We are all human, and even while incarcerated, the path I was/am destined to take, was still very clear to me. Thank You Again Lord, for influencing my Artistic Values!
More than so called Rappers,we consider ourselves to be the link between The Streets and a God Conscious Society, which is sympathetic to this Hip-Hop Generation. The reality of life in the streets and life general, are the main focal points of our music. Thank You Lord! The never ending influence, of You Almighty God, as our guide; Has allowed us to strive above and beyond other artists, while making our struggle a positive experience. For our listening audience, Up-Tempo and Hard-hitting beats provided(s) passionate high-energy stage show that sets us apart from the average Hip-Hop Artists. Thank You Jesus!
I am known for my distinctive voice and out-going stage presence, Maxamil brings a complimentary vocal style to the table, fine-tuned to create a laid-back party that is sure to keep you thinking while you bop to the beat.
