Da name is Shawn Emanuel (22/Capricorn) and I'm a British R&B/soul/pop singer.I was born and raised in West London. I am Jamaican/Cuban. I'm known for the tours i did with Kelly Rowland(2003), Beyonce (2003), Jagged Edge (2003), Destiny's Child(2005), Missy (2005), Kanye West (2006) and da Sugababes (2006). It's a blessing to wake up everyday and know I'm doing what I love. I will never take it for granted cause I know this isn't my obligation... it's a privilege!Sometimes I'm loud, other times I'm quiet. I don't drink (a lot) and i definitely don't smoke. I love chillin' wid my friends cause they are a reality check. LOL!If u know me you'll know I'm a cool dude, with sum big dreams, and I make shyt happen. I'm true to my word and I'm reliable. I don't do fake people and I'm very honest with how I feel about people, so if we ain't on good terms u gonna know about it. With No Manager or Record Label as support Shawn achieved the kind of success signed artists would dream of. Before signing with EMI records Shawn literally talked himself onto the Kelly Rowland tour in 2003. It was the start of big things...There aren't many 21 year old boys who have supported Beyonce, but then Shawn Emanuel is most definitely not your average 21 year old boy. After touring with Destinys Childs Kelly Rowland in 2003, Beyonce snapped him up for her own European live dates, which also led to him supporting the group on the European leg of their 2005 destiny's fulfilled world tour... Kanye West also invited him to join his UK tour in2006. He soon made a name for himself among the top urban artists both in the UK and the US, and became well-known among their fans. It was not long before he caught the attention of our very own Estelle. She was so impressed that she immediately hooked him up with her management and set him on the road to solo success.Now recording his album, due for release in 2008, it looks like his days as a support act will soon be over. Having learned from the very best, Shawn does the urban pop thing very well.
